FEATURES OF BIO-ECOLOGICAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE FAMILY OF HORSE FLYS (DIPTERA, TABANIDAE) IN THE CONDITIONS OF DAGESTAN

This article examines the key aspects of horsefly distribution and development in various biotopes of Dagestan, taking into account abiotic environmental factors. The influence of external factors on horsefly behavior is studied, and optimal conditions for their breeding and habitat are identified. Based on all the data obtained, species common in the lowland, foothill, and mountainous zones of Dagestan are identified.
