ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION CHALLENGES IN CONTEMPORARY RUSSIA

The article examines the main environmental protection challenges in modern Russia. It analyzes the legal framework, the state of natural resources, and the effectiveness of state control. Key environmental risks are identified, including air and water pollution, inefficient resource use, and low environmental awareness. Measures to improve legislation and environmental monitoring are proposed.
