The structural and morphometric parameters of the vascular plexuses of the brain of the lateral ventricles of the human brain are described in the process of postnatal ontogenesis from a newborn to 80 years. Attention is focused on psammoma bodies. An analysis of biometric indicators of the main components of the vascular plexuses of the cerebral ventricles: epithelial cells and their nuclei, vessels is carried out. The obtained formalized indicators give an idea of the functional capabilities of one of the main morphological substrates of the blood-brain barrier.
