NOTE ON THYMES (THYMUS, LAMIACEAE) OF THE TIAN SHAN

In the Tien Shan Mountains (within the boundaries of Southern Kazakhstan, Northwestern China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan), according to our data, 18 species of the genus Thymus (Lamiaceae) are known: T. altaicus Klokov et Des.-Shost., T. aschurbajevii Klokov, T. bucharicus Klokov, T. cuneatus Klokov, T. diminutus Klokov, T. dmitrievae Gamajun., T. incertus Klokov, T. karatavicus Dmitrieva ex Gamajun., T. magnificus Klokov, T. marschallianus Willd., T. mongolicus (Ronniger) Ronniger, T. petraeus Serg., T. proximus Serg., T. rasitatus Klokov, T. roseus Schipcz., T. seravschanicus Klokov, T. sibiricus Klokov et Des.-Shost., T. terskeicus Klokov.
