This article presents the results of scientific research on phytoremediation, including research work to study the biotechnological properties of plants growing on the territory of the Central Kyzylkum. The practical implementation of the results of these studies is important to reduce the excess migration of radioactive metals in the biosphere and prevent existing problems with emerging modern environmental problems.

Key words: Industrial zone, phytoextraction, bioremediation, heavy metals, introduced plants, xenobiotics, hyperaccumulation, phytoremediation
