Ichthyoparasitological analysis of marine and semi-anadromous fish species in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea made it possible to identify 35 parasitic organisms belonging to different taxonomic groups: 7 species of monogenetic flukes, 6 species of digenetic flukes (trematodes), 3 species of tapeworms (cestodes), 9 species of roundworms ( nematodes), including 5 species of anisakid nematodes, 1 species of acanthocephalus (acanthocephalus), 2 species of parasitic copepods (capepods) and 2 species of glochidia. There was a large variation in the indicators of extensiveness and intensity of invasion, respectively, from 2 to 55% and from 1 to 378%. The minimum values of the extensiveness of invasion were noted in river perch, which amounted to 11%, the maximum in common pike perch was 96%.

Key words: Commercial fish, parasites, extensiveness of invasion, intensity of invasion, Caspian Sea, infestation
