CHANGES IN CATALASE ACTIVITY IN THE SOILS OF THE СENTRAL CISCAUCASIA AND THE CAUCASUS WHEN CONTAMINATED WITH HEAVY METALS AND OIL

As a result of the study, the dependence of the toxic effect of heavy metals on the soils of the Central Ciscaucasia and the Caucasus on the type of pollutant was obtained: Cr > Cu ? Pb ? Ni. A number of soils of the Central Ciscaucasia and the Caucasus were obtained according to the degree of resistance of catalase activity to heavy metal contamination (soils are located as their resistance decreases): mountain-meadow-steppe (90) ? ordinary chernozem (84) = mountain-meadow sod-peaty (84) ? mountain-meadow soddy (81) = mountain-meadow chernozem-likes (81) ? sod-calcareouses (79) ? сhernozem leached (mountain) (78) ? dark gray forest (76) ? сhernozem podzolized (mountain) (75) ? Brown forest weakly unsaturated (74) ? typical chernozem (mountain) (65).
