In an experiment on growing male rats, histochemical and morphometric indicators of the activity of chromaffin adrenal tissue were studied in the dynamics of two – month restriction of mobility. The authors associate the revealed changes in the studied parameters not only with stress on the experimental conditions, but also with deep structural and metabolic disorders in the muscle tissue and in other tissues and organs of the immobilized body.

Key words: hypokinesia, rats, adrenal glands, morphometry, histochemistry.
